Spork used as knife

Back in September, I did a Y-Rock CD of the Week review for Sea Wolf‘s Leaves In The River (archived both here and here)…

I ended my review with this:

“…I maintain that Leaves In The River has enough musical curveballs to keep things interesting.”

Recently, Pitchfork ran a review of Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks‘ newest, Real Emotional Trash (which I also happened to have reviewed)…

The second-to-last paragraph ends like this:

“Closer “Wicked Wanda” is great, too, incorporating enough musical curveballs to keep things interesting.”

…Okay, what say you?
